A valve site easement secures small parcels along a pipeline for mainline valves, pig launchers and receivers, and related equipment. These sites need their own access and surface rights beyond the linear right-of-way. The parcels hold the valves and inspection-tool equipment used to isolate sections and run cleaning or inspection runs, each needing dedicated access. Operators place them at regulated intervals along the line.
A pipeline has many valve and launcher sites, each its own land right. Gridlync keeps these site easements connected to the route they serve.
